It Doesn’t Affect Us Anymore, but…….
Al Wilson the talented former MLB of the Broncos is coming back after his neck injury and the only question is where he is going. We all remember good ol’ Al. He was the heart and the soul of our former defense. We drafted him right after we won our last Super Bowl and we finally sent him into free agency after the 2006 season.
He suffered a serious neck injury which would have most likely took him out of the 2007 season. Mike Shanahan decided he wasn’t worth the money and BAM! Al Wilson was gone like that. But now he is ready to play and will be hot on the free agency market.
There are many teams who would benefit from his experience including (and this will make you laugh) the Broncos. He is ready to play. They could move D.J. Williams back to OLB and maybe just maybe they could be a playoff threat.
