Another Bailey?
This week the Broncos have brought in the brother of Champ Bailey for contract negotiations. Boss Bailey began the week by going with Champ to a Nuggets game where they talked about joining the team.
Bailey a strong side linebacker has been being watched by the Broncos for months but it has gotten to the point where we think he is ready to be signed. Bailey left the Lions this year due to injury problems but now is looking for a new team and we like the idea.
This would give us a replacement for Ian Gold who left last week.
He had 51 total tackles 3.5 sacks and 2 passes deflected after only 12 games started. His best season was in 2006.
Other players who we are talking to about playing for us include Marlon McCree a former safety for the San Diego Chargers. He would most likely move to strong safety and opposite John Lynch.
