Boss Bailey Signs
The question of whether Boss Bailey should become a Denver Bronco has become one of the biggest topics in the off-season. But today Champ and Boss were joined making us the only team currently in the NFL to have two brothers on the same team playing different positions.
Today he signed a contact with undisclosed details.
Boss is a talented outside linebacker who has started 11 games in each of his seasons as a Lion. Yet he faced injury problems resulting in him being cut.
Last season he ended up with 51 tackles, 3.5 sacks (a career high), and 1 forced fumble. His best game in 2007 was in week 2 against Minnesota where he totaled 6 tackles and 1.5 sacks.
The Broncos and Mike Shanahan brought Boss in this week to discuss possibly signing him. Champ brought him to his own negotiations at a Nuggets vs Suns game. Now he has been officially signed and is a Denver Bronco.
Champ is no longer alone.
