If I sound stupid here give you my deepest apologies but right now the two OTs who we are willing to draft this year keep on raising on Mock Draft Boards across the country. If Jake Long is taken very early that leaves the Chiefs likely to pick our favorite player in the draft Ryan Clady.

So if this happens then we will be faced with a dilemma. We need OT firepower and we might take Jeff Otah but I can’t see us taking him in such a high pick.

Keith Rivers a very talented linebacker who could as well be in the running but after acquiring Boss Bailey and Niko Koutouvides we shouldn’t choose another linebacker. It would be a complete waist of money.

Phillip Merling from Clemson we have been looking at for a little while. But if we do in fact trade for Dewayne Robertson or anther DT he might not be needed. But do not forget about this guy. Nobody should be surprised if we take him.

There is always the chance we could trade away the pick. But we do not need to take anymore risks on veterans. We need to look to the future. So scratch that idea.

But what about a running back? That could really make an impact. Selvin Young is good don’t get me wrong and could probably grow into a starter but if we are faced with a great running back available at this point. The reward is much greater than the risk. Travis Henry I think is the biggest dud ever and I regret re-signing him. But who would Mike Shanahan pick?

Darren McFadden I have going in our Mock Draft to the Raiders. If not them he will become a New York, Jet. So he is a no. Rashard Mendenhall will probably be available but would be a terrible fit for our team. Felix Jones I don’t think should be picked this early but is able to play at a star level backing up another player. So that leaves us with Jonathan Stewart.

Jonathan Stewart is an accomplished running back from Oregon who played with our style offense and could give rebirth to our famous running game. Can you say Terrell Davis? Anyway if all is lost look out for this guy durning the draft.
