Casey Wiegmann Signed
Last night we reported that Casy Wiegmann a former offensive lineman of the Kansas City Chiefs was interested in becoming A Denver Bronco. Today he doesn’t just have interest, he has a contract.
Wiegmann is a 34 year old veteran with great feet movement skills resulting in him being the perfect fit for our o-line. The problem was he wasn’t as powerful as other linemen and that was what Herm Edwards was looking for.
After Matt Lepsis retiring and Chris Myers leaving to Houston we are searching for more linemen to defend QB Jay Cutler. Mike Shanahan is worried about him getting trampled by defenders so we first decided the best way to acquire these players would be through the draft.
But as Ryan Clady our #1 prospect rises up the draft board. We need to make sure we still have depth in our line.
