The Broncos Select Spencer Larsen
The Broncos selected Spencer Larsen a ILB from Arizona. This was a great pick! I am so glad we chose Larsen for one of our Linebacker corps. He in his final season totaled 10.5 tackles for losses. This was great. He showed so much improvement in his final season.
This guy is an overachiever who is very smart and instinctive. He uses his hands well to get out and away from blocks. But he shows limited range and does not fit the exact mold of an ILB in the NFL. That is the reason why he was not a high round player. I like this decision and I think he could compete with Niko Koutovides for the starting job.
