Josh McDaniels Currently The Front Runner?

Josh McDaniels
Right now the big question surfacing the Broncos news world is who would be the frontrunner in the race to replace Mike Shanahan as the new head coach for the Denver Broncos. More rumors are popping up and we just received a big one.
According to Adam Schefter of NFL Network a surprise candidate might right now be the front runner in the race to be the new head coach of the Denver Broncos. That front runner is (or may be) Josh McDaniels the current Offensive Coordinator of the Patriots.
Apparently Steve Spagnuolo who was formerly thought as the front runner to replace Mike Shanahan apparently did not impress or enamor Broncos Owner Pat Bowlen surprisingly and may have lost a bit of ground to be our head coach.
I will say that I am not 100% sure if that is accurate because this was simply an informal interview. Chances are that they did not learn as much about him as they would in a long drawn out interview locked up in Bowlens office asking more questions and getting more serious answers.
But otherwise Josh McDaniels blew away Bowlen in an interview proving to be like a young Mike Shanahan in his offensive mind set. Obviously McDaniels is a great Coordinator and has helped train Tom Brady, Wes Welker, Randy Moss, Matt Cassell, the Patriots entire Offensive Line, and Laurence Maroney.
According to Michael Lombardi it looks like no matter what happens the Broncos are looking to move quickly and find their new head coach. Moving up the Raheem Morris interview means they might want to move quickly. We will keep you up to date if any new info unfolds.
