Andre Goodman

The Broncos have officially decided to sign former Miami Dolphins Cornerback Andre Goodman to the team. He had visited this Saturday and according to some sources apparently blew away the Denver Broncos coaching staff.

According to Adam Schefter of NFL Network, it’s a five-year, $25 million deal, with $10 million in guaranteed money. The Broncos are hoping that he will  be able to not miss any games due to injuries and be able to compliment Champ Bailey well in the secondary.

While Andre Goodman has become very well known for his frequent injuries and mediocre play, after completing his first full season ever, he showed just what he could do with his 5 Interceptions making him one of the brighter spots on the Dolphins Defense.

He has played 7 years but still seems to be peaking and might be the optimum replacement for Dre’ Bly after he was recently cut. I think this is a good pick and we will find that it will work much in our favor. Also I think he will do well with another former Dolphin Renaldo Hill.

I still think McD should have gone after jabari greer or bryant mcfadden, but I hope this works. Also, i hope the fact that the entire secondary is veterans will help groom Josh Barrett, Josh Bell, and Jack Williams to be good starters soon. I also think the Broncos should go hard after Jim Leonhard from Baltimore. He’s a very solid player at safety, and at 25, he could definitely be groomed to replace Dawkins.

yeah but I think we need to do Defensive End next. There is nobody really good at that position in the Draft and it is needed. A guy like Igor Olshansky would be REALLY good and he is even a pupil of wayne nunnely our current d line coach.

Absolutely Garrett. I think the Broncos should try to sign Olshansky and Gabe Watson, the 6-4, 340 DT from Arizona. The Brfoncos need to beef up at tackle. Olshansky would be a huge help on D though.

Except for the whole Cutler thing. And Jon, I don’t think I can call it great until the Broncos get somebody, anybody, on the defensive line. right now the opening day line is Tim Crowder, Marcus Thomas, and ?, because thats all the broncos have right now. The Broncos need to get Olshansky and a DT before we can say great.
